"Pain is just fear leaving the body" - what an apt description!

I thought it was a quote from Bruce Lee, but looking round on the 'net, it looks like I misquoted Enson Inoue. It seems the original quote is "pain is weakness leaving the body".

It wasn’t from forgetting the techniques but rather the lack of mobility and flexibility as you mention.

My Sensei mentioned last night that it's not the techniques that you forget, but the timing. Mind you, my dismal performance in a randori from Hanmi Handachi Waza exposed quite a few holes in my technique library too. :(

"On a side note, how cool is the name Boyohazard?"
Thanks! Quite fitting for a Welsh Aikidoka wouldn’t you agree!?

Flippin' genius, mate.

"Pain is just fear leaving the body" - what an apt description!

I actually made it to Shodan before I was forced to give up Aikido but Wednesday seemed like I was starting from scratch. It wasn't from forgetting the techniques but rather the lack of mobility and flexibility as you mention. I guess I could do with some Reiki!
